South's Finest has undertaken many historic restoration
projects. We have become quite proficient at restoring damaged
or rotting architectural parts to their original design. After
restoration we make molds of the restored parts (cornice, brackets,
columns, capitals, etc.) and make as many pieces as needed.
We have restored parts from rusted historic stamped metal urns
and spires, to the deteriorated historic wooden dormers
on the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.. In restoring
the cornice on the Old Bull Building in Durham N.C. all we had
to go by was an old painted outline on the side of the building.
In restoring the Pediments on the Moultrie Georgia Courthouse
all we had to go by was an old photo.
Whether you want your parts
restored and copied to their original pristine condition or you
want your parts to match (including nail holes, gouges or even
paint chips not removed) the existing undamaged parts South's
Finest can satisfy the most exacting criteria of any historical
society. |
